Corporate social responsibility
For almost 100 years, Multiconsult has played a key role in developing some of Norway’s most important projects. Our heavy involvement in the oil and gas, transportation, energy and industrial sectors represents a wide-ranging and long-term investment in Norwegian society. The nature of our role also means that corporate social responsibility and ethical standards are very important, which is something that all of our staff are very conscious of. Some of the key elements here include facing up to environmental challenges, taking a strong stance against corruption and promoting equality. In order to satisfy internal and external rules in these areas, honest and clear communication is required – both within the organisation and in our dealings with the outside world.
Industry collaboration
It is important to Multiconsult that the whole industry develops its technical expertise. We therefore encourage the sharing of experience and knowledge across company boundaries. Through various formal and informal channels, we and our competitors are sharing our knowledge and expertise with each other. Multiconsult is a member of the Norwegian Association of Consulting Engineers (RIF), which in turn is affiliated to FIDIC, the International Federation of Consulting Engineers. To give us a stronger position in the international market, we collaborate closely with NORPLAN, which is a joint venture between Asplan Viak and Multiconsult. In architecture, we collaborate with LINK signatur AS, and in strategic planning we collaborate with our subsidiary Analyse og Strategi AS.
