During the summer of 2021, Multiconsult will organize a multidisciplinary summer project for students within renewable energy related studies.
Multiconsult is one of the largest consulting firms in Norway within renewable energy, working with both national and international renewable energy projects. About 50 percent of our projects are outside of Norway, mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa, South-East Asia and South-East Europe. This gives younger employees international opportunities with us.
In Must Renewable Energy 2021, a team of three to four students will carry out a project for one of our clients. The team composition will be interdisciplinary in order to solve a variety of tasks related to such a project. The project is likely to be related to solar power, hydropower, wind power, power systems and economic/financial, environmental and social analysis related to renewable energy.
In previous years, the students have worked on projects related to hydropower, solar power and power system analysis, in Norway, Asia and Africa.
The students will be closely followed up by mentors in Multiconsult with relevant expertise. The summer internship will be located at our headquarters at Skøyen, Oslo with a possible field trip.
We seek primarily third and fourth year students within renewable energy related studies, including (but not limited to): structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, hydropower, solar PV, wind power, hydrology and hydraulics, meteorology, energy planning, geotechnical engineering, geology, environment, social sciences, economics, business management and finance.
