The SKANLED projects covers a submarine pipeline that will run from the Kårstø natural gas processing plant in western Norway, connected with the Europipe II, to eastern Norway, western Sweden and Denmark with exit points in Rafnes (Norway), Lysekil, Vallby Kile, Bua (Sweden) and Jutland (Denmark). The total length of the pipeline is 853 km. Project cost is estimated to 10 billion NOK.

Scope of work
Multiconsult performed Civil Pre Engineering for the Skanled Pipeline project as subcontractor to IKM Ocean Design. Civil objects comprised landfall at Kårstø, landfall at Bamble and 13 km onshore pipeline towards Rafsnes, Grenland, Norway. In addition, Civil Engineering Management for both Norway, Sweden and Denmark was covered by Multiconsult hire-in personnel along with Authority Handling.
