Every year, Multiconsult Group sets sustainability targets that all subsidiaries must follow. Every other year, we update our dual materiality analysis. It sets out our climate transition plan to ensure that we implement the right targets and measures that are in line with our strategy and work towards a more sustainable future. We also work on improving the competence of all our employees on sustainability.
To ensure that we focus on the most important sustainability challenges and opportunities for Multiconsult, we carry out a dual materiality analysis. The analysis considers both how external factors affect our business through risks and opportunities, as well as how our business affects the climate, nature and the society around us.
We have set ourselves science-based climate targets that are in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). To achieve our emissions targets, we have started work on a climate transition plan. The plan includes measures to streamline our own operations, reduce our climate impact and contribute to emission reductions throughout the value chain. An important part of the work is identifying and managing our climate risk. By assessing both physical and transition-related climate risks, we ensure that we are equipped for future challenges and opportunities. Through clear goals and commitments, we take responsibility for driving the transition forward.
We have an ambition to be the preferred sustainability advisor. To achieve this, we have a high focus on competence development among employees throughout the company. During the year, we carry out a number of different initiatives that focus on relevant areas such as greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity, circularity and reuse, and climate adaptation and risk.
