Our competence networks will ensure that we have and are the leading subject matter experts in the industry. This is done through uniform development and management of disciplines and best practices.
We will deliver solutions that are solid, sustainable and innovative, and that use new technology and digital solutions. Through our broad subject matter expertise, we ensure that our deliveries meet the demands and expectations that society and customers have of us.
The networks will strengthen professional interaction and competence development across line organizations, geography and business areas. At the same time, they will be enablers of the company's strategic ambitions and goals. By using the DUSE methodology (Share, Develop, Standardize in the Most Effective Way), the competence networks will facilitate uniform and correct quality in our deliveries.
We have around twenty large and small competence networks in the company, covering all subject areas. The largest networks have nearly 600 members and the smallest around 20. Each network has an administrative manager, deputy manager and professional manager. The latter is responsible for developing expertise within their field of expertise, across the entire company.
All employees are automatically enrolled in a professional network when they are hired by us, based on their professional background and education.
The network members are active in various professional arenas to share and spread their expertise, both internally and externally. Internally, they participate in network meetings, professional days and breakfast/lunch meetings with various topics within the field of expertise. Our subject experts are also used as speakers at various external professional conferences and seminars, and contribute their expertise to professional articles and research projects.
