Environmental management

With good knowledge of management systems, requirements, expectations and environmental measures, the project's environmental performance can be systematically mapped and effective environmental measures identified. Environmental management is in many cases a coordination role where interaction with the other disciplines in the project is essential.

Designing environmental goals that are anchored and implemented throughout the project organization is one of the most important success factors for a sustainable project.

Multiconsult works as environmental consultants in all phases, from designing environmental strategies and environmental programs for areas in the early phase, to environmental monitoring in the design and execution phase.

In the early phase, the environmental consultant, together with the client, lays the foundation for the project's opportunities and environmental goals. The further environmental monitoring in the projects is the work that makes the environmental goals and requirements realized into an environmental building and is thus one of the most important parts of the work of an environmental consultant.

We contribute to environmental certification, among other things. through BREEAM-NOR, BREEAM In-Use, BREEAM infrastructure, WELL and Miljøfyrtårn.

LCA and greenhouse gas and EU taxonomy

To ensure that the project meets tomorrow's requirements for climate footprint, greenhouse gas calculations are included as a continuous activity in our assignments. Greenhouse gas calculations can be used to compare solutions and identify key emission drivers in the project and opportunities for greenhouse gas reduction. This can in turn contribute to the sustainability of the project by enabling documented climate-friendly choices.
