Multiconsult is located throughout the country. This allows us to effectively offer local resources with in-depth knowledge of your local area. We offer cutting-edge expertise in pollution on land and at sea, and deliver services ranging from ground surveys on land and in water, and assist in all phases from the mapping phase to clean-up measures or in the event of acute spills.

Natural diversity

The Natural Diversity Act provides guidelines for the sustainable use and protection of nature, so that nature as the basis for human activity and development is safeguarded. This is done through the management of local populations, species and alien organisms, including through area protection and regulations to protect selected habitats and habitats for priority species. The act is relevant to all projects that affect natural diversity in connection with land encroachment, construction work and other types of disturbances.

Multiconsult has biologists, nature managers, geologists, spatial planners and landscape architects who have broad knowledge of safeguarding natural diversity in the construction of society. These resource persons are located around the country, and can map biodiversity, assess the effects of measures, develop technical environmental solutions, operating methods and adaptations to avoid or limit damage in accordance with the environmental legal principles in the Natural Diversity Act.

Environmental consulting

We have a multidisciplinary team of experts covering a wide range of environmentally related fields, with over 200 environmental consultants nationwide.

We work in all phases of a project from the early phase, to design, construction phase environmental monitoring and impact assessments to climate consulting and sustainable urban development. This broad expertise enables Multiconsult to offer tailored solutions that meet specific needs and challenges.

We work with the environment and sustainability in all project phases from concept study, investigation, detailing/design, construction and operation. Our experience with environmental management and follow-up of both design groups and contractors gives both us and the customer confidence that we set the right forward-looking requirements, while at the same time daring to challenge environmental ambitions.

Multiconsult assists with assessments of which environmental and sustainability considerations are the most important in different phases, both against applicable laws and guidelines, but also against the client's own goals and ambitions. This is followed up with environmental risk assessments and the preparation of environmental follow-up plans that ensure the right measures at the right level, in addition to which we consider whether subject-specific assessments and surveys need to be carried out.
