A good route choice for technical infrastructure is fundamental to achieving the best possible adaptation to the landscape and surrounding environment.

We have extensive experience in planning routes for power cables and power lines on land and in water. This includes both cables in masts, on racks, in trenches and in tunnels. In addition to all the necessary disciplines to plan the route selection, we can offer Norway's largest environments for geotechnical and geological engineering, including equipment for ground surveys on land and in water.

For power lines in masts, it is important to find routes that provide a good location in relation to the terrain and vegetation to mitigate the visual effect of the route. It is important to consider the location of the route in relation to topography, vegetation, exposure, existing facilities and nearby features and consider how the route is perceived. Especially in areas where the route comes close to people and buildings.
