Gjennom vår tilstedeværelse langs hele kysten utfører vi kystrelatert rådgivning og prosjektering i hele Norge.

We have one of Norway's leading expertise areas within coastal engineering and marine technology, with specialists in the marine environment, marine loads, aquaculture structures and other coastal structures, such as anchored floating structures, floating fish farms, ports, quays and other structures / facilities in the coastal zone.

Typical objects are anchored floating structures, floating fish farms, ports, quays and other structures and facilities in the coastal zone.

Escape safety, fish welfare and health, environment and safety are important for the sea-based aquaculture industry. Developing tools, standards and methods to optimize future sea-based aquaculture facilities is central to meeting requirements and expectations and to further develop the industry.

We have a high level of activity within research and development. This involves participating in the improvement and development of new methods, standards (e.g. NS9415) and tools, as well as contributing to new methods and tools for our customers. We will help to take the industry further into the future.

We provide mapping of the marine environment through both field measurements, advanced modeling and simulations. Furthermore, the associated environmental forces and response to land-based and floating structures are calculated.

Multiconsult is an accredited inspection body for the performance of services in accordance with the requirements of the NYTEK regulations and NS9415. In our developed mapping service "AkvaGIS Fish Health", fish health networks update each other on disease status.

Our areas of expertise within sea-based aquaculture are:

  • Aquaculture technology
  • Oceanography
  • Hydrodynamics
  • Marine structural engineering
  • Marine geotechnics

We offer site investigations, life extension, anchorage analyses and construction certificates.

Approved as an inspection body according to ISO/IEC 17020:2012
