The power plant has a good environmental profile where the intake is drawn into the mountain with a fine-mesh cargo gate, a pond with a fish ladder, a footbridge and a passage for rafting/kayaking, as well as a large bypass facility for water flow in the power station.
Annual production 252 GWh.
Multiconsult has provided consulting services for the license application, plans for NVE, tender documents for all disciplines, detailed design and follow-up during the construction period for the entire project for Sunnfjord Energi and later Jølstra Kraft DA (50% Eviny and SFE).
The entire power plant is designed and built using BIM models (without drawings).
